My research experiences have allowed me to explore questions across molecular biology, public health, pharmaceuticals, archaeology, and materials science. I am especially interested in work that connects rigorous analysis with real-world applications in health and human well-being.

Carnatic Music — Artist & Instructor (2014–Present)
More than 10 years of Carnatic music training and performance experience.
Vocalist and instrumentalist; instruments include flute and violin, with additional experience on piccolo and tambura.
Paid music instructor teaching 40+ students across voice, flute, and violin.
Has participated in major Carnatic-music settings including the Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival and NJ CMANA competitions (winning at these levels)
Completed/participated in Sampada certificate music theory training (Level 4).
Founding/leading a music program serving 300+ students in India, with several students later earning national placements through VTSeva programs

Marching Band / School Instrumental Music
Flute Captain in Hightstown High School Marching Band.
Performs flute and piccolo and helps lead the flute section.
Participates in marching-band rehearsals, competitions, football-game performances, and community/parade events.
2025 NJ State and Region 7 Champions - undefeated season
